Worker Stuck After 30-Foot Fall From Bridge

MEDFORD, Mass. (WBZ) ― A worker fell some 30 feet from a bridge on Revere Beach Parkway in Medford Thursday night and wasn’t found by fellow workers until some time later.

Medford fire officials said the worker accidently fell off the bridge while the crew was working on repairs.

The worker was found some time later and emergency crews were called to pull him out. The man apparently hit an embankment below and was stuck in a hole without water.

Officials said he was conscious when he was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, though the extent of his injuries are unknown.
